Published by Dark Drakan on August 20th, 2007
Following the news of an Xbox 360 price drop in the US it seems as though the UK isnt far behind. Microsoft have just confirmed that on August 24th they are dropping the price of all models of the Xbox 360, this is the same day as the Xbox 360 Elite launches in UK also and is retailing at £30 less than it was expected.
We’re pleased to be able to offer Xbox 360 at a new, lower estimated retail price. We pioneered the successful concept of multiple products for multiple categories of consumer. First-timers will love the Xbox 360 Core system, which offers an affordable entry into high-definition gaming. The Xbox 360 Elite, with its large hard drive and wireless controller, will appeal to casual and experienced gamers and families.

Nice one, mate. Good to see Microsoft are dropping the price on all Xbox 360 core, premium and elite models.
I’m guessing it’ll be a while before we’ll be able to buy them for £79.99 like the original Xbox, though.
