Sorry for the Downtime, Folks!

Written by projectego | October 25th, 2008

Many, many apologies to our visitors for the site’s rather lengthy downtime this morning. I was foolish enough to have a lie-in today (as it was flippin’ cold and getting out of bed in the freezing cold isn’t so appealing) which meant that the downtime was slightly longer than it needed to be. I’d like to offer a special thank you to John Anderson of TotalChoiceHosting support for responding to my support ticket so promptly and remedying the situation so swiftly; you’re a life saver, John!

John was also kind enough to offer to look into the situation and investigate as to why it was that the server decided to give up when it did. I’ll update this post when I learn more. However, hopefully we shouldn’t experience any more downtime for the foreseeable future. *fingers crossed*

Thanks again, John!

I kinda freaked, when it happened to me. But even Lionhead was off a time or two. So no problem. Yes it was very cold, here in Texas as well. Even though it was not as cold as up north.
