The first gameplay video for Fable 2 during the Games Convention 2008 in Leipzig, Germany has been shown. This is only the first and there will be more to come shortly. Thanks to Zamamee for posting this on the forums for us all to see.

Lionhead is to patch an exploit in Xbox Live Arcade game, Fable II Pub Games, which lets you get lots of in-game gold at lightning speed. The bug in question involves a quick button tap that tricks the Fable gambling game into thinking you’re betting high, when really you’re only risking minimal cash.

However Lionhead are working on a patch to fix the exploit and give the legit gamers a chance.

Don’t fret! I didn’t break the forum! The Tavern Cellar has gotten lost somewhere! I just thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and merge the Bowerstone South Tavern forum and Tavern Cellar together in order to help de-clutter the forum. Big thanks to Todd (Albion Knight) for posting this on the forums. IGN have recently put up a Fable 2 Livewire Demo of almost 15mins of footage showing off some of the systems in Fable 2. From things like the combat, flirting, expressions, henchmen and some magic amongst other things.

Lionhead and Microsoft have finally announced the release date for Fable 2 as October 21st in the US and October 24th to Europe followed by releases to the rest of the world in the following months.
