New Fable 2 Bar Fight Video Footage Released!

A new Fable 2 video has been recently released which helps give an insight into how possible bar fights may occur during the course of Fable 2 with gaming genius, Peter Molyneux of Lionhead Studios Ltd. walking a crowd of people through the demonstration. While the visuals aren’t all that special (standard models with very little texture), the main purpose for the video was to showcase how a bar fight scene might unfold via a simulation.

A special thanks to weirdkidinabox for pointing out that the video we posted just this morning is not actually an early demonstration of Fable 2 at all, but in fact a simulation to depict how Peter Molyneux envisions the future of one-button based combat systems that interact with the environment around your character.

That’s not Fable 2.It’s just a game engine.Fable 2 takes place 500 years after Fable, so there will be guns etc.

During Peter’s full presentation (unedited, which many versions on the web are) he explicitly says that the footage that he shows is not Fable 2. The concept he is talking about are for development in future games but will not be seen in Fable 2, despite using characters from Fable.

i thinck fable should be based in the year 3028 and at the beginign u can pick which year u would like to start in and the years progress as u play and the year depends on what wepons are avalable and if u ahve a wepon from like 1000 years befor its worth lots and lots of cash coz its realy realy old and then there should be veichals in it like horses at first and then casrs and then helicopters and then like futeristic thing just to help get around faster and veichals cost a lt of cash but if they die or get blown up u need to get another and houses should have aplace to put the veichal and u should have to uograde all the propertys u own to keep up with tecnology and mabey even get them past the tame ur in and when u complete the game u should get a time machine so u can take like an ak-47 back to when they were using clubs and stuff so u nail easy or take a club into the futre so its like nealy imposable but you should only get that when u have completed the game or it would be to easy peas email me on my eamil if any of the fetures will be added in the game and lwt mw no when the game will be relised and what consol it will be on personaly i think it should be on nintendo wii coz u could realy get into it on nintendo wii and realy feal like u are swinging your sword butpleas email me and let me no everything that is going to be in the game and if any of my featurs will be added in the game pleas i am the biggest ever fan of fable so pleas let me no everything

exept for the year 3028 part i think it should be 500 years after the first fable like Molyneux planned it but the years progression is just pure genious (exept the aircraft type vehicles idea.I personally think it just would’nt be fable anymore but horses are a good idea and it should have a year maximum like year 2008. #1 Fable Fan says goodbye!
