Fable – Silver Keys Quest
This page will list the exact locations of all of the 30 keys scattered throughout Fable, as well as the location of the treasure chests that they unlock.

Silver Key #1
Location: Lookout Point
You will find a bush in the centre of Lookout Point that can be cut away, the first key is behind it.
Silver Key #2
Location: Bowerstone South
Go up the stairs at the tailor’s shop and you will find the key right on the balcony.
Silver Key #3
Location: Greatwood Lake
The third silver key is located at the top of the steep slope and right in front of the busted bridge.
Silver Key #4
Location: Fisher Creek
Go fishing at the north side of the old man’s house and you will reel in a key.
Silver Key #5
Location: Orchard Farm
You can fish the key from the pier from the eastern part of the area.

Location: Guild Woods
Go fishing in the lake near the Heroes’ Guild.
Silver Key #7
Location: Darkwood Lake
This key is a little awkward, you must find the pillar to the left of the lake that has a small indentation in it and fire right inside the hole to reveal the key.

Location: Ancient Cullis Gate
Lean over the middle of the bridge in this area and use your fishing rod to reel it out.
Silver Key #9
Location: Grey House
There’s a key hidden in a small pond right next to the demon door in this area, use your fishing rod to uncover it.
Silver Key #10
Location: Oakvale
Win second prize in the Chicken Kicking competition to gain this silver key.
Silver Key #11
Location: Oakvale (Memorial Garden)
This key is buried near the statue of a man wielding an axe, use your shovel to dig it up.
Silver Key #12
Location: Rose Cottage
There is a circle of roses just outside of the house, use your spade to dig for the key.
Silver Key #13
Location: Hobbe Cave (Focus Chamber)
This key is buried in the water-filled room where you find the missing boy, dig within the mushroom circle to gain the key.
Silver Key #14
Location: Twinblade’s Camp
Use your spade to dig up the key from a circle of red flowers near the chest at the south side of the map.
Silver Key #15
Location: Witchwood Stones
Use your fishing skills to real in the key from the pond just outside of the demon door in this area.
Silver Key #16
Location: Witchwood Lake
Use your spade to dig at the base of the glowing red gargoyle statue to earn yourself another silver key.
Silver Key #17
Location: Knothole Glade
Go to the southern area of the map, in-between two houses you will find a circle of foliage where you can use a spade to dig up the silver key.
Silver Key #18
Location: Windmill Hill
Behind the windmill you find will find a ring of roses, dig in the centre to find the next key.
Silver Key #19
Location: Windmill Hill
The second silver key in this area can be uncovered by digging in-between another circle of flowers right next to a cottage.
Silver Key #20
Location: Headman’s Hill
You can only obtain this key during the Mayor’s Invitation side quest. When fighting Thunder you will be knocked off the cliff to a new area with a pond, use the fishing rod to reel this key in.
Silver Key #21
Location: Bowerstone (Manor)
After you have completed the Mayor’s Invitation side quest and married to Lady Gray, you will have access to Bowerstone Manor. Go inside and reach the bedroom, search the bed and you will have obtained your next key.
Silver Key #22
Location: Lychfield Graveyard
Use your spade to dig up the fresh grave outside of the crypt on the southern side of the map to earn your next key.
Silver Key #23
Location: Lychfield Graveyard
Search the sarcophagus inside the crypt at the southern side of the map.
Silver Key #24
Location: Lychfield Graveyard
Find the muddy pond near the center of the map and use the fishing rod to fish out the last of the Lychfield Graveyard keys.

Location: Cliffside Path
Near the north side of the map is a small hill with a circle of mushrooms, use your spade to dig up the key from the center of them.

Location: Hook Coast
Search and slam the door of the cabinet on the first floor of the lighthouse to uncover another silver key.
Silver Key #27
Location: Fisher Creek
Win the second prize in the Fisher Creek fishing competition to obtain this next silver key.
Silver Key #28
Location: Bowerstone South
Go to the school and donate 25 books to earn yourself this silver key.
Silver Key #29
Location: The Lost Bay
Dig the key out from the grave that is located next to the abandoned building.
Silver Key #30
Location: Necropolis
Fish in the river near the broken bridge to gain this silver key.
