Fable: The Lost Chapters – The Hidden Sword

Fable: The Lost Chapters Side Quest: The Hidden SwordDifficulty: 1 Star Difficulty
Gold Reward: None
Renown Reward: None
Other Rewards: Avo’s Tear

The Hidden Sword Quest Overview
This quest is available after the ‘Prophets of the Fire Heart’ portion of the game provided you chose the “good” ending and didn’t end up with the Sword of Aeons, as this is basically the ‘pure’ alternative to that weapon.

To call this a quest would be a bit of an overstatement because there really isn’t a whole lot to it. Any who, the mission will begin with you overhearing the Guildmaster and Briar Rose talking about a weapon that is hidden somewhere and that Maze may know of it’s location.

So head over to Maze’s Quarters and examine his bookcase until you find his journal which has notes detailing his search for the legendary sword, the Avo’s Tear longsword. You will also read the instructions for calling forth the legendary sword – “One need only read the inscription on the empty grave in the Guild courtyard and think of the weapon to be judged by the Old Heroes.”

You guessed it, that’s our cue to head to the empty grave in the Heroes’ Guild courtyard and a cutscene will play when you arrive. Shortly after, you will receive one of the most powerful weapons in all of Fable: The Lost Chapters, Avo’s Tear.

if you dont have enough money to buy it, go to snowspire village and buy all of their augumentations. then you sell them back (without exiting the buy screen). You can also buy and sell diamonds. Do this over 10 minutes and you will have up to $880,000,000! Now go to bowerstone north (the rich town in bowerstone south) and go to the shop. There you will buy the solius sword. It the the most powerful in the game. Also, try adding expierence and health augmentations to it to cause massive damage. Have fun!

To obtain the Solus Great Sword, you must have completed the Arena, and have around 90,000 coins. Once you have all of the requirements, you then go to bowerstone North and go in the shop towards the center of town. This sword is very powerful with a 314 damage. This sword can hit up to 1000 if you are a maxed out player.

if you have maxed out stats…wouldnt it be easier to just go to the temple of Avo and pull the sword out of the stone than getting judged?

  10. notice to all idiots..

people. just because the Solus has more damage per HIT, that does not mean it is best.. Damage per second is what matters, and if you can swing this at least 1.5x as fast as the Solus, then it is by far a more powerful weapon..

the sword at the Temple Of Avo is not weaker than The Sword of Aeons.
