Darkwood Disturbance Quest Overview
The Darkwood Disturbance scenario will become available once you have completed the ‘Rescue the Archaeologist’ main quest, simply choose the quest card from the map room to assign it to your current quest.

When you arrive at Darkwood Lake, you will find that a group of minions have taken over the territory to perform some sort of bizarre ritual. You will meet Briar Rose there and the two of you will need to work together to rid the area of the minions once and for all.

After that you will need to protect her while she performs a counter-ritual to prevent an evil monster from being brought to this world. Try your best to keep the minions off her back as it will mean she will have to stop halfway through her incantation to fend the enemies off then continue again.

Upon completion a quick celebratory cutscene will play and afterwards you will receive 3,500 Gold and 100 renown for your trouble.
