I’m sorry everyone who had high hopes for this game, but honestly… it was the same thing as fable but shorter and with some spice add in, one hardly any weapons that are cool, two, no armor, three, it was as short as the first Fable. I had high hopes, and I am disapointed beyond belief.

The man above is an idiot… Fable two is set some time after fable 1. Would it make sense to have a present day fable in an urban setting and have epic armor?? The game takes place in a 17th centuryesque setting… It only makes sense. As for the game being short, maybe? Depends if you whized through the bread crumb feature and didn’t bother with side quests etc.

The thing is… fable is grand. What they tried to do with fable 1, is better represented in fable 2. The features and innovation lionhead wants, won’t be best used until the tech/advancement in gaming can handle the advancement in AI etc.

im not going to call anyone on here and idiot cause personally i feel that people insult others becuase they can think of nothing else intelligent to say …but i will say that my oppinion differs from the two reviewers before me …fable two is a great looking game , with very detailed setting and lighting. comming from a purely aesthetic view point. the story isnt bad and while the main quest is a tad on the short side there are a number of side quest to entertain the player. but there are a great deal of negative points with this game .

    1. as stated by one of the reiviewers before me , it is simply another fable …now this can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you feel about fable ..but the game very much has the feel of its predicessor

    2. i shudder to think what the quality assurance guys were doing instead of actually testing the game….fable two is by far the worst xbox 360 game i have ever played in this area …bar none…its almost as if the testers never even bothered to test the game …my character got stuck in walls multiple times ..once my dog trapped me while swimming between a wall and a pier and i had no choice but to reset the game …another notable time was near the end of game you get the choice between going back to bed or following a strange light …i chose to go back to bed only to find the turned bright white and stayed that way …i could hear my character walking around and swinging my sword ..but the screen never did correct itself.

    3. the controls take some getting used to as well

all in all i would say if you a fan of fable the game is worth a play through or two ,but other than that it is frustratingly obvious that the game was rushed through productions and that the proper amount of time was not put into quality assurance testing

i didnt plya the first fable but i;m unimpressed with this one beyond belief… there is no challenge to the game, as stated above it is very short and the game is glitchy and the character can get caught alot around objects.
    frustrating to the max

fable2 is not fable.its weird they have changed the game completly its alright 9/10 but i did’ent like the story and i think the combat in fable1 is better and theres more will powers.
and you did’ent have to put your wempon away to talk.fable3 better be in a new land thats still in the past or it’ll be ruined i mean that spire thing?that part made the game not feel like fable at all and its like they made the game not focus on you any more. what happen to choice?what about if i wanted to fight that lucian alone or destory the spire or kill the other heroes it did’ent give those choices.you should have been able to change the land completly to were it looks all black and the skys red.you should have been able to rebuild the heroes guild to.and kill the people with quests
it just did’ent feel like fable how will fable5 be if its set
    still in albion?

I’m dissappointed with a few things about Fable II, but overall it’s still a pretty cool game.

    The Praise

Okay the good stuff first. The minigames and sidequests where great. All the little things you could do throughout Fable II where great. The gameplay was great, and the customization of everything was pretty cool too. Working till getting that promotion was a little annoying at first, but when I had made enough to by all the stall in Bowerstone, I kinda appreciated it.

The Bolloks Kicker(No I’m not from London)

The story just plained sucked in my Opinion. The begining was Kinda cool, but I much prefered the idea of the final villian being a mask wearing Schizophrenic Psycho Jack of Blades better than the final boss being Lucian “Abraham Lincoln” Fairfax, a guy you can kill with one bloody shot.

The graphics were pretty good, but the motion Blur thing was annoying, and I agree with most that the chracter models where ugly, not that the first Fable’s was any better.

    The Overall:

The game is still pretty good, it can be fun and addicting somewhat, but if you want a good story you’re probably better off playing through the first fable…AGAIN

Fable 2…Overall I enjoyed the game, the characters, the few weapons I was able to get, and the different maps and lack there-of. But, if I can say one or two things about the main quest and its facade of a climatic ending I will say this…WTF is up with lionhead studios and there BS attempt to follow up Fable with a worthless 1sec ending like that?!?!?
Ive been waiting for fable2 for so long and finally its here and now Im just completely pissed off!
People tell me that this game wasnt about the main quest, its about the side quests, well my response to those people…STFU! Fable had all the side quests and was still able to pull off a more than sweet ending and not only that I am still playing fable-lost chapters today, because it has that replay-ability.
    So to sum it up…
Pros- Cool graphics, pretty cool quests, ability to buy all of albions property
CONS- Glitches, lack of weapons, no armor (it is the 17th century but swords are still around, armor should be as well!!) Oh and did I mention i absolutely hate, hate the ending…One shot to kill Lucien and after that I get 3 lame rewards that really dont make any difference to gameplay after. Why not the ability to fly, or maybe infinte access to cool weapons, or how about time travel back to the original fable…come on i just thought of 3 sweet options and it took me seconds…WTF are the people at lionhead studios doing besides making an epic sequel to fable…sippin on there damn tea and eating disgusting crumpets..thats what they’re doing…

well i think fable 2 is one of the best games to come out this year because its a epic sequel and after you finish the gamethere is still stuff to do houses to buy gargolyes to destroy and more silver keys also there is no replay value in fable 1 when your evil your like yeah sword of aeons. after you massacre a town your over the sword and when your good there isnt enough bad guys to kill and the idiot who said it suck that there were only 8 spells big woop the spells in this one are better I mean i’ve got every spell level 5 and its way better than having half the spells on level 3 when they go to lvl 7 the demon doors give you better stuff example big house and legendary weapon in the same door + i laughed harder after 5 mins of fable 2 after finishing the whole game in fable 1 and as for the glitches very few games are made without glitches that werent ment to happen its called emergent gameplay all you quake players who use rocket jumping to get to better spots would know what i mean. the only part I didnt like about the game is killing lucien I mean a music box pretty much F***s him up talk about embarrasing but other than that Fable 2 gets a frikking ten out of ten

i think Fable 2 should get a 9.5/10. the only thing i do not like about both fable games are that you cant jump. im used to being able to jump in any other game. this game would get a full 10/10 if only you could jump. it would be easyer to jump over rocks and things that u cant get over without walking around. also, i know it would make the game fake, but it already is with all the magic powers, but they should add wings to the game for everyone who beats the game and has high enough experience. but overall, 9.5/10

Urmm i would say fable 2 wasent ENOUGH like fable 1 definatly the main story is short and the side quests are best, but if im honest i would of liked to see us rebuild the heroes guild and maybe see some more old characters, like scthye and i know its set in the future but it would of been nice to be dated back somewhat or is oakvale had ghosts in that did the same quests as in fable 1. at the end it sets of for fable 3 quite obviously when theresa says “the spire is mine. Begone !”

Fable 2 was very disapointing, it was to easy, very short, not very many weapons, no armor( ok i know thay didnt have armor at that time but still), no variety on clothing and hair styles, almost no spells, and the menu styles for combat were not impressive at all. Also the ending was horrible. Fable 1 blew this game out of the water. i would rate this a 6/10

yeah so i wanna just say….OBLIVION. i would much rather take a graphical hit and get supreme gameplay. Lionead completely missed an opportunity to make a game that could quite possibly stand the everlasting test of time like zelda, mario, mortal kombat, honostly there was very little creativity in the game, most all effort was put on graphics and no attetion payed to gameplay and story. No mana, wtf, i would much rather trade limited castinga ability, inevitably more strategic casting ability, and spells that take damn 20 seconds to cast o my god. also, no boss fights, horrable trolls, weak rewards (SERIOUSLY demon doors fing sucked, one 50 key chest with a weak 50k gold that u can’t get untill AFTER buying he 1m gold castle, also, wtf was with the ENORMOUS emphasis on gold, nearly every dig spot, chest, silver chest, all gold, weak) this game seriously dissapoints, could have been so much more, another failed lionhead sequel

fable 1 i loved it, played it many times but fable 2 was not that bad the lack of clothing was annoying wearing the highways clothing for like half the game, the tattoos pist me off comparring it to fable 1 i had no idea wear it was going on my characters body, i like that fact that there was no manna i nearly snapped of my F3 button while playing fable 1, the trolls made shake the xbox(giving me the RROD)why the fuck do i haft to kill the worms inside its asshole WFT and the arena was soo shit, the lack of demon was sad but i like that fact that i didnt need to do something gay to open them. I ate 4 pies and some other shit and my guy had the biggest pot in the fkn world and from until i met hammer to the end of the game i feed my guy celery.THE END PISTE ME OFF THE MOST I EXPECTED SOME CRAZY BATTLE KILLING LUCIEN BUT Reaver fkn shot him before i cold that fkn dikhed who the fuk trades their youth to destroy anyway while i was shouting at the tv i missed on what the 3 ending could be thinking that everyone i love will return like rose (i just wanted to see what would happen, will she be young or old just curious) i piked love and when i found out that fkn dog comes back to life i WAS EXTREMELY ANGRY that dog was a waste of time stupid shit i should of went for the gold and by the castle Fairfax and screw lady grays brains out and continue the hero race but that bludy dog( i don’t even like dogs i got a cat at home if the dog was a husky or a German shepherd it would of been grate really strong dog stupid shit). i got soo pised the i ran to bower stone and started killing everyone everyone , then i went to bloodstone to kill raver but he wasn’t the which made me go on a rampage and i killed everyone in town even the who who accidentally got in my way and became my wife . Put everything aside the dog the lack of cloths the one thingthe really pised me of was the saving style remember fable 1 where you can you had like 20 sections to save your progress if it had that i would of gave this game a sweet 10/10 but the fkn dog , the lack of cloths & weapons ,saving style function annoyed me
Anyway thanks to this form i was able to control my anger and not belt the living shit out of my little bro thank you
i mate play again but this time being extremely and giving no mercy to no one so the temple of light can go screw itself
