History of Knothole Island
Hundreds of years ago, the tribe from Knothole Glade discovered the existence of an island far off the mainland said to offer its inhabitants full control over their weather. Tired of constant Balverine attacks and damp, dreary weather, the tribe elders decided they would find this mythic island and settle there. The ancient civilisation who originally lived on the island created the magical artifacts that control the weather, and hid them in dangerous caves so that their warriors would be tested every year.

when fable 2 dlc starts to come out it iwll mostly be items and stuff like that and i bet just you watch the halo armour and sword will come out to the marketplace
im seirously hoping they release armor into the game soon. doesnt feel like fable without plate armor. also i hope they patch the game to get rid of lag/allow your own heroes in co-op mode instead of henchman
Yeah; there will be armour brought in.
I preordered fable2 from my local GAME store, and due to an order problem from Microsoft, I’ll be given a free code to download Spartan Armour when its out.

yeah there will be dlc but i doubt armor will be, maybe cool looking clothes or stuff like that the game was made not to have armor so added it might be hard also i hope the will let you dl new quests
@Panda, they already have that, you can play as player 1’s heroes.
If any DLC probably quests, weapons, and other stupid things.

I think they should have DownLoadable “Extensions” as Fable 2 is not so big as Fable: The Lost Chapters. Very Disapointing.

@sam: agreed. Kinda like what World of Warcraft does. Add side quests or even a new storyline/ side-storyline related to the main one.
i would deffinately like new quests also my dog got broke after i beat the game it follows me around but it wont stop barking andit says quest above his head but i did every quest in the game…..

i think they should add extra story missions and weapons, armor, better MP stuff, and a mp mode where you and a friend have to do minimissions to earn money and in 10 minutes the one with highest amonut wins…ps i getting game on xmas
or let u place bets and have a compition like killing or shooting contest
or just more to the story line line if lucian didnt die and he comes back for revenge. but ya there will be new clothing, quests, weapons, new heros, etc…
Most. Disappointing. Game. Ever. Downloadable content is great but probably won’t help the game rise above its mediocre status. That is, unless they completely redo the whole ending and change the characters (especially Hammer). Also, armor and more save file slots would be nice.
Just announced on the Lionhead page, Knothole Island, an island settled by the good people from Knothole Glade is going to be a new area in a DLC availavle in mid-December.

as far as ive heard there are two new updates one having the assassins gloves but i havent checked it out myself
i hope this DL is going to be free i cant afford gamer points =( but it sounds awesome cause i want awesome plate armor again.

For the people wanting another storyline incase Lucien lands on his stack of mattresses and the Red Cross comes and save him, do you even realise how HUGE a chunk of download that would be? I don’t see another storyline anytime soon or at all. With Lionhead’s secret project i’m content with a few updates every now and then.

They aren’t going to give you your dog back in a patch…if you miss it so much make a new character; you should have picked to get it back when you had the chance.

@ Jakuro, they will likely let you bring your dog back at some stage, though i can see it being an annoying tedious quest.
i hooked my wireless modem up to my 360 but i cant get my ip address to work how do i fix it or is there a way to download the dlc onto a thumb drive and then put on my 360
